The Maurice A. Deane School of Law faculty and administration join together in our response to the death of George Floyd, and the racial injustices we have seen and are seeing across our country.
We share Judge Prudenti’s sentiments that “more than ever, we need to unite as one,” and that “this is a community problem that demands a community response.”
Along with our Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, we will engage our students and the Hofstra Law community to help develop a strategy for using our platform as legal educators, administrators and lawyers to bring about meaningful change.
