On January 11-12, 2021 Professor Ellen Yaroshevsky participated in the 9th Annual White Collar Crime Institute CLE, a comprehensive, two-day, virtual program hosted by the New York City Bar Association.
Program Description
White collar criminal prosecutions, investigations, and reform efforts have always triggered widespread political, social, and economic reverberations, but perhaps never more so than in today’s world. The scope and nature of white collar matters have become more complex, as defense attorneys, prosecutors and regulators grapple with a global pandemic and shifting political tides, navigate challenging cross-border and multi-jurisdictional issues, and adjust to an evolving and uncertain enforcement landscape—all under intense press and public scrutiny. With a new administration taking control of the federal government, it is a particularly important moment to take stock of what’s in store in the year to come.
