On August 18, 2021, Hofstra Law alumnus The Honorable Norman St. George ’88 was appointed deputy chief administrative judge for courts outside New York City, one of the most high-level administrative judge positions in New York’s court system.
Judge St. George currently sits as administrative judge for the Nassau County Courts. He has over 17 years of judicial experience within the Nassau County Court system and was elected by voters in 2018 to a state Supreme Court seat. In his new position, Judge St. George will oversee and manage daily trial-court operations as well as hundreds of state judges and thousands of non-judicial employees.
