In Memoriam
With sorrow, Hofstra Law wishes to recognize alumni who have passed:
Stuart Alan Rosenthal ’78 died on September 13, 2021 at (only) age 70. Stuart was devoted to and adored (and was adored) by his family: Kathy Neubart Rosenthal (class of 1977), his wife of 45 years and best friend for 49 years, daughter Devorah, son Benjamin, daughter-in-law Brooke, their daughters Lily Mae and Parker Hayes (the loves of his life), and his extended family by birth and by choice. He loved his work, friends, learning, and sharing. Stuart had a ready smile, enormous heart, and out-stretched helping hand. He was funny and so very smart. Words do not capture the twinkle in his heart.
Stuart had a long, illustrious career as an attorney, working hard to make a difference, first in public service at the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs and the NYS Attorney General’s Office, then at the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, and most-recently as the master of his own domain in private practice, but he was looking forward to retiring.
Stuart will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
