Hofstra Law will be hosting a free one-day virtual legal assistance clinic for veterans on Sunday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The clinic is open to all veterans and offers a free phone consultation with attorneys who specialize in these areas: elder law, tax, wills, estates, family law, VA benefits and claims, disability, discharge upgrades, employment, housing, bankruptcy, debtor/creditor matters, Medicare and Medicaid, landlord-tenant disputes, immigration, and criminal law. An appointment is required.

To date, VLAP has provided more than 400 military veterans with free legal services.
