I hope everyone is off to a great new year.
The Office of Alumni Relations is committed to developing a variety of opportunities to interact with alumni and friends. On January 4, we kicked off 2024 with a special alumni dessert reception in Washington, D.C., during the annual meeting of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). It was great to have alums come out to spend some time with the Law School community. On January 16, we then hosted 40 alumni, Hofstra Law administrators, and faculty for an alumni networking reception in NYC just blocks away from the New York State Bar Association’s 2024 Annual Meeting. Once again, alumni showed up and it was a great evening to meet many of you up close and in person!
We have a few more special alumni events coming up this semester and we hope you will join us and bring one of your former classmates with you. Your participation is very important to us. I encourage you to stay connected and let us know about any updates or special moments in your life that we can include in future class notes. Help us share the many great things happening with Hofstra Law alumni.
Finally, we hope you will join over 200 alumni, students, and law school team members in the unique networking platform created just for the Hofstra Law community. We are growing day by day and want as many as possible to get the most out of Hofstra Law Connect. Be sure to complete your profile and also join a few virtual groups in the platform to engage with old and new friends.
All the best!
