
Hofstra Law Professor Elizabeth Nevins spoke as a panelist at the 2024 Association of American Law Schools Conference on Clinical Legal Education, Navigating the Digital Frontier: AI in Law School Criminal Defense Clinics panel on May 2, in St. Louis.
The panel addressed general issues related to AI and clinics and those related to criminal defense (and criminal defense adjacent) clinics specifically, including access to justice, implicit bias, confidentiality, and how to use AI effectively and ethically.
