Greetings Alumni,
Over the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure to meet many alumni at various events such as the 2024 Home to Hofstra Law & Reunion signature event, mock interviews with a few student organizations, and Bar Association installation dinners. As always, it is a pleasure meeting Hofstra Law alums from various sectors and hearing more about your careers and interests.
This summer our team will be welcoming the new Dean to the Law School and planning various events so you can meet the Dean and learn more about her vision for the future. Please feel free to contact my office with any feedback that would be helpful to us as we strategize on tailored events for the future and develop programs that will benefit our extensive alumni network. Also keep in mind that our goal is to better serve the alumni network, highlight your outstanding accomplishments, and partner with you in ways that will be most beneficial to students.
Finally, please be sure to let us know if you prefer to get email communications at another email so you don’t miss out on important updates.

Welcome Dean Jenny Roberts
Hofstra Law is excited to welcome its 11th dean, Jenny Roberts, on July 1, 2024. A native New Yorker, Dean Roberts returns to her roots to continue her legacy of groundbreaking contributions to legal education and tireless dedication to countless students.
Dean Roberts has over 22 years of experience in legal education, with the last 14 at American University Washington College of Law where she was co-director of the Criminal Justice Clinic and taught first year Criminal Law. She is a nationally recognized criminal justice expert.
Hofstra Law Hosts the 2024 Home to Hofstra Law & Reunion Event
On June 13, 2024, Hofstra Law and the Hofstra Law Alumni Association hosted the signature annual event, Home to Hofstra Law & Reunion. The Law School welcomed alumni across more than five decades and celebrated alumni with milestone anniversaries: 1974 (50th), 1984 (40th), 1994 (30th), 2004 (20th), and 2014 (10th). The event was hosted in Roosevelt Quad where alumni, faculty, administrators and guests gathered under a big tent and filled the atmosphere with laughter, memories and networking opportunities.
