
Last week, Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University Professor James Sample was called upon to provide his feedback and expertise in constitutional law for ABC News, CBS News, and MSNBC.
- On April 10, Prof. Sample discussed the U.S. Supreme Court’s response to the applications and implications of executive power with ABC News in “Supreme Court tepid on Trump while defending power to check president: ANALYSIS.”
- On April 11, he weighed in on the “removability finding” in immigration court for an interview with CBS News for “Mahmoud Khalil can be deported, immigration judge rules.”
- Also on April 11, Prof. Sample participated in a live segment with MSNBC’s Chris Jansing while the U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously determined the government must facilitate the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from an El Salvador prison.
