
Hofstra Law 2L Niya Henry was selected as one of the recipients of the 2025 Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation scholarships. She received her award at a luncheon on April 8 at City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill.
Henry is an active member of the Black Law Student Association, a staff member for The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Journal, and an interscholastic moot court competitor. Her areas of interest include commercial litigation and labor and employment law.
The Foundation awards the scholarship each year to advance the status of women in the law. The scholarship was presented by Hofstra Law alumna Lisa Fenech ’18, the current President of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation.
