Professor Barbara Stark presented the paper “Intercountry Adoption and Human Rights: When Genealogy Matters” on Dec. 11, 2015, at the “Children, Vulnerability and Resilience” workshop at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta.
She presented a different version of the paper, “Intercountry Adoption, Human Rights and Global Capitalism: When Genealogy Matters,” on Jan. 8, 2016, as part of the Human Rights Section panel at the AALS Annual Meeting in New York City.
The panelists were selected from a Call for Papers, and the panel was co-sponsored by the AALS Section on Family Law.
