The article “Redefining Access to Justice for Separating and Divorcing Families: The Denver Resource Center Uses a Problem-solving, Holistic Approach,” co-written by Andrew Schepard, the senior associate dean for academic affairs and Max Schmertz Distinguished Professor of Law (with Rebecca Courlis), appears in the Spring 2016 issue of Dispute Resolution Magazine (22 Dispute Resolution Magazine 22 [2016]).

Access to justice is the theme of this issue of the magazine, which is published quarterly by the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution.

Excerpt:

For many families, a coordinated system of service delivery in which access to legal information, mediation, and drafting is available within the context of a multidisciplinary service delivery system that serves their long-term interests better than the traditional model.
