Hofstra Law’s Monroe H. Freedman Institute for the Study of Legal Ethics is presenting “A Conversation on Making a Murderer” on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. in the Student Center Theater of the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, on Hofstra University’s North Campus.
Dean Strang, one of the lawyers for Steven Avery, whose case was featured in the hit Netflix series Making a Murderer, will sit down with Professor Ellen Yaroshefsky, the Freedman Institute’s executive director, to discuss the Avery case and its broader implications for the criminal justice system.
The evening will also feature a Q&A session, but questions must be submitted online in advance.
