On June 29-30, Professor Barbara S. Barron was the program director and instructor for a two-day trial advocacy course for the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs. The course was part of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s custom programming initiative.
Professor Barron designed a curriculum to mirror the complexities of the department attorneys’ hearing practice. The course included developing strategies for dealing with difficult witnesses and for winning challenges to the admission of physical and testimonial evidence.
