The Making of a Transformative Mediator
A video series-based webinar with Tom Wahlrab and Baruch Bush

In their new and unique video series, Baruch Bush, the Harry H. Rains Distinguished Professor of Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Settlement Law and co-author of The Promise of Mediation, invites Tom Wahlrab, longtime mediator and former director of the Dayton (Ohio) Mediation Center, to share stories about his life and work. Professor Bush responds to these stories, and together they explore how the transformative framework shaped their beliefs and their practices of supporting themselves and others when experiencing conflict.
In the webinar, Wahlrab and Professor Bush will discuss the specific “principles and practices” of transformative intervention that emerge from the episodes in the series. Susan Jordan, director of Central Susquehanna Valley Mediation Center, will moderate the discussion.
