On Sept. 25 from 5:15-9:30 p.m., Professor Ashira Ostrow, associate dean for research and faculty development, is serving as a moderator/commentator for the Land Use Training Program for Municipal Planning and Zoning Officials at Hofstra University.
The program is being presented by the Maurice A. Deane School of Law, the Nassau County Planning Commission, and The Institute of Real Estate at Hofstra University. It features two sessions, one on “Affordable Housing Initiatives on Long Island” and another on “Best Practices/Ethics Panel: Mock Public Hearing.”
The free event is being held in the Multipurpose Room of the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center on the North Campus.
