The WE CARE Fund of the Nassau County Bar Association’s 2018 WE CARE Golf and Tennis Classic is honoring Judge Gail Prudenti, dean of Hofstra Law and executive director of the Center for Children, Families and the Law. The event will take place on Monday, July 30, at the Tam O’Shanter Country Club in Brookville, New York.
The WE CARE Fund is a part of the Nassau Bar Foundation Inc., the charitable arm of the Nassau County Bar Association. It was founded in 1988 by then-Bar Association President Stephen Gassman.
WE CARE is supported through donations and fundraising efforts of the legal profession and the community-at-large. The money is disbursed through charitable grants to improve the quality of life for children, the elderly, and others in need throughout Nassau County.
