
Professor Barbara Barron was the program director for an ACLU – National Institute for Trial Advocacy partnered online motion practice course that was held January 11-13, 2022. She created the curriculum for the course as well as helped edit the course materials, which were taken from an actual ACLU case. The course focused on case analysis, argument strategy, and actual oral argument. Over 100 ACLU Affiliate lawyers participated nationwide. Hofstra Law Professor Andrew Schepard, the director of the Center for Children, Families, and the Law helped teach the course.
