
On November 30, 2021, Judge Bruna DiBiase ’84 was honored by the Queens County Women’s Bar Association at its annual Judiciary Night. She was one of four judges honored for their work presiding over several court parts that deal with youth, drug, domestic violence and other issues. Judge DiBiase presides over the youth part in Queens County Supreme Court, Criminal Term.
As a part of the event, two students, including second-year Hofstra Law student Nicole Purdee, received the Faith E. O’Neal Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded each year two outstanding law students who have demonstrated a sincere dedication to public interest. Each student was awarded $2,500.
