
Over the past three months Hofstra Law Professor Barbara Barron has directed and taught different legal skills programs. Her work with law firms such as Faegre Drinker and The Finnegan Law Firm consisted of her teaching lawyers nationwide. Barron was also the program director and lead teacher in an online skills investigation techniques for the SEC.
Barron has also created and directed a special training curriculum along with original material tailored for the partnership between Hofstra Law and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) to bring skills to lawyers. This year the Law School hosted NITA’s Northeast Regional Basic Trial Skills course along with partnering with NITA and the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office to host a special advocacy course for the District Attorney’s Office.
