Second-year Hofstra Law student Darielle Matthews was honored with the “Trailblazer” Award at the third Annual Hon. Dorothy T. Eisenberg Women in the Law “Trailblazer” Award Presentation and Reception on April 16, 2024.
“I am deeply honored to be a recipient of the Annual Honorable Dorothy T. Eisenberg Women in the Law “Trailblazer” Award,” said Darielle. “Judge Eisenberg’s story was truly inspiring, and I promise to make her and her family proud throughout my journey in the legal field!”
Hosted by the Long Island Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, the Award is presented to rising second or third-year law students, who demonstrate the same personal characteristics representative of the Honorable Dorothy T. Eisenberg, such as unwavering determination, civility, and commitment to continuing to pave the way for future generations of women professionals.
