Over 35 Hofstra Law 2024 Graduates Hired as Assistant District Attorneys

Hofstra Law Class of 2024 graduates have secured 37 assistant district attorney positions across New York City’s five boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk counties, and other regions throughout the United States, demonstrating their commitment to serving the public. This dedication was also reflected this past year with the 85,914 pro bono service hours contributed by the Class of 2024, which was celebrated at the 2024 Public Service Awards Ceremony prior to Commencement.

The newly hired assistant district attorneys include:

Alana Ambery and Kaitlyn Tobin, two Hofstra Law Class of 2023 alumni also joined the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office this year.

In addition to the assistant district attorney hirings, 14 graduates have also been hired at other public interest organizations such as the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County, New York City Law Department, and the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. These accomplishments highlight the strong culture of service and community engagement that is fostered at the Law School.
