Hofstra Law alumnus Eric Lesh ’11, executive director of The LGBT Bar Association and Foundation of Greater New York (LeGaL), is one of 10 people named by City & State to its inaugural The Pride Watch list.
City & State, a media organization dedicated to covering New York’s local and state politics and policy, introduces the list by saying, “These 10 people in the LGBT community have begun to make a name for themselves in New York’s political world — and each of them has plenty of potential to make their mark in the years ahead.”
Before joining LeGaL, Lesh was the Fair Courts Project director for Lambda Legal. City & State notes, “Both at LeGaL and at Lambda Legal, he has worked to combat LGBT bias and discrimination in the legal system.”
In 2017, Lesh was named a Best LGBT Lawyer Under 40 by The National LGBT Bar Association.
